He said he's got an "informant" in the White House telling him there's a plot to assassinate him. I think his "informant" is nothing more than the little voices in his head. That nutcake has finally flipped his lid.

His lid was flopping long ago . I bet his "informant "is Bill Clinton , the guy who pardoned some 16 FALN terrorists on his last day as president . I wouldn't put it past Clinton to pass that rumor to Chavez-after all , a man who would pardon members of a group who had plotted to assassinate Ronald Reagan ; and set off 120 bombs in the U.S. injuring scores ( some fatally ) - would be capable of anything under the sun-and is ..

You never know!

It already happen to the former President of Chile Salvatore Allende on 9/11/1966 if am not wrong. His palace was bombed by US air force. The whole world was shocked and astonished that it happened. Allende did not share the views of the US government at that time. And we know who the US put to replace him...Augusto Pinochet!

I don't doubt that he has an informant, because money can buy anything, even your soul. What worries me, is that if someone else assassinates him now, the US will get blamed. He has lots of enemies and if I were one of them I would try to off him now and blame the US.

With our history of assaisination, or the threat thereof, of those we don't like, even those DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED by their people, Chavez' comments cannot be dismissed out of hand.
We are clearly implicated in the assasination of Allende in Chile, the many failed attempts on Castro, the illegal war against the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, etc.
We piss and moan about democracy, but hate it when people don't vote the way we wish. We are a nation of two-faced liars. Demockracy is a joke around here.

well this nut cake is now aiming for a Security Council seat in the
U.N. which means he is positioning for head of the anti-U.S.
coalition in the Third World. only 10 coveted seats avail for this.
This will definitely mean problems for U.S. in the U.N.

He is driving himself crazy. There is no tangible reason to assassinate him. When was the last time we assassinated anyone, we couldn't even agree to do that to Osama Bin Laden.

It's not the latest and it's not surprising. To you, a nutcase because he's not white I suppose. And anyway, there probably is a plot. Look how many times the US went after Castro!
