that girl stop growing? im 12 turning 13 and im already about 5'6...i hate being tall..i dont see any advantages other than me looking older than i am...is there any way not to get taller??

hey.. your 5'6 actually girls dont' stop growin to the age of 18 i know you feel like an odd ball but really its perfectly normal.... theres nothing wrong with being taller then most of your friends girls...or guys.... just give it time...and everyone else will catch up to you... especially the guys....:-)

Women reach their full height potential around age 18-20. No, there's no way to not get tall that i know of.
Yes, there are definitely advantages. Look up the bio for any runway model. There might be one out of every ten who is under 5'9".

You are meant to be tall. I would kil to be that tall. 5'6 is not that tall either. That is average for women. Most women you see will be that height. And no you can't stop growing.

Try to do the heavy exercises like power lifting and all. You will not be become much taller.

you are likely about as tall as you will get, i quit growing at that age and about that height. then you start to fill out.

you may actually be at full hight now.... maybe not demends on your family's history..... usually they stop about 14-16
