Unknown- Why don't you feck off. Some people don't run to their doctors at the slight hint of a cold, and actually there are people on this site that can help, sometimes people just want some advice on whats normal. If you don't like it clear off and stay out of the health questions..
Julie- hun you've had the correct answers here, you do need to speak to your doctor or midwife and get your blood pressure checked. Paracetamol is o.k to take in pregnancy but in this case because you are so far along i would be concerned about pre-eclampsia. It's probably nothing, headaches are normal, but check it just in case. If you start to get an aversion to light, or flashing lights, then just go straight to the hospital immediately..
Good luck.

I have headaches too i am 34 weeks pregnant and have been told it is the hormones that do it - but i have to say that was only after seeing my midwife and getting my blood pressure checked because headaches are also a sign of high blood pressure - so please just go and get checked out for peace of mind

Don't worry I had headaches a lot towards the end of my pregnancy too just as long as you don't have any other weird symptoms then take aspirin such as Tylenol(which is safe to take when your pregnant if your pregnancy is a normal one). That's what I did,and it was a lifesaver.

Please phone ur midwife or gp as it may be a sign of high blood pressure which can be dangerous during pregnancy and also could be the onset of pre-eclampsia , don`t mean to scaremonger but you need to phone asap . It may very well be an ordinary headache but please seek professional advice .
Good luck x

You should have your blood pressure checked as soon as possible by your GP or practice nurse. If this is Pre-eclampsia then it is treatable but the sooner diagnosed the better.

Hi

Are you suffering from swollen fingers/feet aswell? You may have high blood pressure. I would go to the docs or the chemist and get it checked out.

do you have any other symptoms? ie.seeing stars or flashing lights? abdominal pain? vomiting?....if you have any combination of these symptoms you must go TODAY and get a urine and blood pressure check-up as these are signs of pre- eclampsia....im not trying to frighten you but if any of that rings any bells then ring your midwife and tell her now...good luck and take care

Hey.... If it's affordable, leave it.... Otherwise use wet cloth and slowly punches on your head. While you are on the bed, keep a piece of wet cloth in your head, just over eyebrow and not to cover your hair part with cloths. Do it daily and I hope you will soon be reach cure from it. Tanks

Paracetamol are ok to take in pregnancy as long as its low dosage and not regular.

When i was pregnant tho I use to go out and buy those cold gel packs from the chemist. No need to chill them you just take them out of the packet, take the strip off and stick them to your head. my best tip tho, buy the kids ones, they don't last quite as long but they're cheaper!

Expect a lot of headaches once your child is born! :)

It's always better to be safe than sorry so I suggest you see your doctor, you can never be too careful during pregnancies!
