Gary finishes class at 1pm and then leaves immadiately for the Phoenix mall. Its a simple problem.
Let the speed with which Gary should travel be Xmph.
First lets find the time taken for molly to travel 126 miles at 42mph.
that is 126/42 = 3 hours
As Gary left a hour late he must be at the mall in 2 hours.
Hence, he should travel at 126/2 = 63 miles/hour.
