Bartender, but you must have the personality for it and be able to deal with demanding people
Airline mechanic, the job pays around 50k a year but you may need to pay for your own training.
truck driver, these guys make a lot of money, some make 80k a year, some make more (some make less depending on how much you want to work) you can find a company that will pay for your CDL (a lisence you need to drive a truck larger than 50ft)
Car Salesman, it takes A LOT of time and determination to succede but if you have the right attitude and social abilities than you can make bank! my friend makes over 10k a month in car sales!!!
also, don't give up on your education! i wont graduate until im 34! but the time will pass anyways. Learning is very empowering and it displays that you have self respect for yourself that will lead to people respecting you more! it also gives you opportunity to meet many friends and potential mates! not to mention, the feeling of achievement you will have as you impress yourself by learning things you thought you could never grasp. And who knows, if you take some side courses like an art class, photography class, or a music class you may discover that you enjoy and have the knack for something that you never even really considered!

Construction is always a good paying job. If you don't mind the backbreaking unskilled labor part of it.
What do you like to do? Look for jobs that specialize in that and see how much they are paying.
It also depends on what area of the country you live in.
Honestly, I can't figure this one out. I took a 2 year break after high school and couldn't make more than minimum wage. When I started and finished community college, I got my first job that paid 3 times the minimum wage. Now, 20 years later, I make over $80 grand a year. So for me, going to college and taking a training program for a marketable skill paid off.

Although bank tellers dont make a whole lot of money, you can get valuable experience that will transfer to all kinds of positions. The salaries may be low but the benefits are nice and there's often promotion from within. Let's face it... banks merge but they are insured so they don't really go out of business so it's pretty secure. After a few years, move on to something else. See if the bank offers tuition reimbursement and further your education at the bank's expense.

the construction trade is booming and is a field where the jobs can't get shipped overseas. real estate, tho we are in a slump, is a job you can go far in. keep in mind that for men, there is a one million dollars lifetime gap in pay between college-degreed and those with only h.s. diploma.
you should pursue education, tho, for your own betterment. doesn't have to be in a college.
