Because the tax revenue encourages them not to. They can afford to put warning on cigarette packets because nicotine is highly addictive so those who smoke find it extremely difficult to stop. Those who start often do so out of ignorance, social peer pressure or are attempting to rebel against parental control - so the warnings are to a degree counter effective.

A logo could include a simple skull and crossbones and include the words - Can cause organ failure and impair decision making.

PS - drinking in moderation may not be harmful - research has shown that moderate drinking of red wine (for example) can be beneficial to health - therefore I would only make it mandatory to include severe warnings on drink with an alcohol content exceeding a certain % and more moderate warnings on those below a certain %

There are so many warnings, media blitzes and massive road signs pushing the drink driving message.
Like "If you drink and drive you're a bloody idiot"
and "Just over..." ads
On wine bottles, there usually is "Drink in Moderation"

Because if you are at such an advanced state of mental retardation that your brain cannot comprehend how things you do can affect others you not only have absolutely no right to be behind the wheel but you also will need all the brain cells you can get, and alcohol will only kill them off.

Warning - you may get addicted and then get social security disability if you consume too much of this product. (you want to work and be a productive member of society don't you?) No - you want to get government handouts and sit home and drink this all day - okay!
