doe anyone know why the men i know love their sons so much, but dont care enough about their daughters to even see them?
im not saying all men, but the particular ones that i deal with are so sexist. they dont want nothing to do with a precious baby girl!?.

I believe that they are afraid of intimacy. Some men like to show only their strong side. They are afraid of showing their little girls affection. That is why so many girls get pregnant before their time. This is why so many girls are looking for a father figure. I still am at 50. My father never showed me any affection unless he wanted sex. So it took me many years to get over that.

A lotof guys may just feel more comfortable around the boys because thats what they are. When I found out I was having a boy, I was a nervous wreck because I was raised in a single parent home with 2 sisters. Girls were all knew!! R the girls still babies or have they reached the toddler stage yet? Once they get older, girls have the ability to sometimes grab daddy's little heart and have him right where they want him. Does he have children with another women. He may be trying to keep the peace with the other woman and it may not be anything to do with the sex of the child. Alot of men just want that little boy so they can teach them to play football and basketball and all that boy stuff, but that is still no excuse for neglecting the girls. Does she have a grandfather that could serve as a healthy male figure for now until the daddy grows up? Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for the stupidity of others. Good luck!!

I don't think you can paint all men with the same brush in this case. I have a girl and a boy and their father loves them both equally, but probably communicates better with our daughter. I think that's because their personalities are similar, and so are mine and my son's. It's a bit weird to see your personality in a child of the opposite sex. So perhaps the men you know just feel they can relate to their sons more than to their daughters purely because of personalities.

You may be right about some people but it is not alway true. Some people really love daughters because they are more careing than sons. I personally like daugthers more but unfortunately i have none. I wish i could have one at least.

Its a guy thing, Girls can get pregant and boys get slaps on the back for having sex, I really don't know.
