You need to be a bit more specific with the question. Do you mean you don't want people stealing the photos off the site? One idea is to make them small and virtually unusable as any kind of hi res image. You can also try a watermark. If what you want to avoid is people taking your ideas and doing something similar, well you're out of luck. There's no way to avoid that. However, if you ever found out that someone copied your work, as long as there was some proof that you did it first, such as the time stamp of the digital image, then you can sue their *** for copyright infringement. Read up on Intellectual Property and copyright law for artists.

Restict the size of the images you are using. Stick a SAMPLE ONLY across the middle, along with a small copyright notice down the bottom.

Embed them with a watermark, and also have it noted on your site that all the artwork is you property and it is not to be used without your consent.

If you want to prevent people copying or downloading any of your images you can add some html script to your webpages.

Just do a search for "Disable right click script".

If you use Photoshop you can implant a watermark. Maybe other digital photo programs have it too.

Surprisingly, there is very little copywright infringement in this area. It's hard to believe but it's true.
