Tupac will always hold a special light in rap. His energy and passion make his music timeless and that is why it has held us over even after death. Take a listen at Common from the earlier days to now. He knows history, black history, hip hop history, and he is very knowledgeable and uses some of the best metaphors and similes I've ever heard. He is poetry to a beat. I don't think anyone can deny Jay-Z's still very existant swagger and style. He just pushes off confidence in his deliverance.

Paris & Chuck D are the only ones around today with anything worth saying. The likes of Ice T, Overlord X, Ruthless Rap Assassins are long gone. Shame. Everything else is pop music.

Tupac will always be the best rapper, hands down.
Eminem definitely is a poser, with his fake rapper act & posse.
