I don't think the rest of the world will fall with the US. I think the US will not be able to sustain itself - our education system is so broken, just look at the rejects coming out of our schools. And that will be our downfall, no ability to critically think will put more administrations like our current one into power. We won't have the skilled workforce to compete with India and China. We will be so hated by most of the world.
Look at just how vulnerable we are- some terrorists blew up two buildings and killed a very small number of us percentage-wise but it was devestating to out morale and our economy.

Yes like ROME nothing lasts forever but then it might still be called the United States and not be at all like our FOREFATHERS intended. We are simply the logist living democratic Republic in all of history as far as I know and we are only 200+something old it seems to me the old philosophies like witch hunters and spanish inquisiton and trial by ordeal and religion are still more so governing us then whatever our country says we are. The reason nothing lasts forever and always morphs is simple. All humans are born with a clean slate for a brain and not always are things consistant from one generation to the next.

I think we have already begun a gradual decline that will probably escalate in a hundred years. But keep this is in mind: when the U.S. falls, the rest of the world is going down with it, so this is not something for you America haters to cheer about. Hear of the dark ages? Get ready for round two.

Oh yeah better brush up on your English, it's civilization.

When our constitution starts unraveling.

Some might say that it's the beginning of a slow decline.

That being said,This is still the greatest country in my opinion,or it was until our leaders decided to serve
their interests instead of those of the people.
