There is a theory called "Six degrees of Seperation", as per that theory you can reach any person, any where in the world through a chain of acquaintances with no more than five intermediaries.
So if you collect as much details about your friend as possible and start sending this information to all your acquaintances, asking them to try to locate your friend, then you should be able to reach you pal through a chain of no more than five intermediaries. "Theoratically"
Alternativly you can try contacting your mutual friends, his last known contact number, contact address etc. You have to try a lot , but remember my friend, the word impossible itself says "I M possible".

Try a search on google using phone number, name or address. you can do a search for white page in Dubai and search that way.

ETISALAT is the only telephone service provider .. So the job is very easy.. and i guess etisalat has an online telephone dirctory too.. so check for their website.. all the best..
