From a cd to your computer, i am sure you know you can use windows media player to rip it off. As far as the website is concerned, hope you are using flash and if you are than all you have to do is to convert that track into flash compatible format and import it into flash.(could use a software like sound edit 16-mac or soundforge-windowns)Just import it using the FILE>IMPORT menu and select the track using the properties tab on the bottom of your flash window, however make sure you select the frame first where you want the music to start from. Thats the basic way, however there are ways to arrange and distriute the audio once its in your file.

I don't think it's legal to put copywritten music on a website, but you would rip the music from the CD to your hard drive.

You do this by using a program, like iTunes, that converts CDs to mp3 files.

Firstly, you will have to convert the music to a compatible format, such as midi or mp3. Thereafter, you need to embed it into the website either through front page or your web editor using the insert media option. Try it, mail me for more clarification if required.

Save it to your computer first.....then put it on your website as you usually would.
