Well honestly you cant just name him what you want, you two will have to come to a agreement on the name. I know that traditional Jr’s are the first son but to be honest now a days that’s seems to be changing I have seen some Jr’s that are not the first son.
Maybe you could use Ricardo as a middle name, I like Landon
Landon Ricardo Ruiz
Jackson Ricardo Ruiz

I like Landon too. And it goes well with Ricardo as a middle name and Ruiz as a surname. Tell your husband he can name the next baby .. hopefully a girl. Hespanic girl names are very nice.

Why dont you give him the name Ricardo and choose a middle name that you would like.
Ricardo Landon Ruiz looks and sounds very nice. You dont have to call him Ricardo...you can call him 'sweetie', my baby or use his middle name such as 'Landon". :D

"AN" names I think would go well with the last name Ruiz. Maybe you could use Ricardo as a middle name? Julian, Tristan, Brian, Ian...Dorian?
You'll figure it out. Conrats on the new edition to your family!

I am also caucasian and my husband hispanic. When we had our son 5 years ago we debated about names. We decided on Nathaniel enrique. I have to say it is a quite a bit difficult for my husband family to say nathaniel. they end up calling him enrique, which just confuses him. Now that he is getting older, he kinda understands that is his middle name, but he doesnt respond to it. It is mainly because spanish language doesn't have a th. So they just cant comprehend how to pronounce it. You might want to take that into consideration. i.e... Cowin.. will end up being prounced.. Coween, but Landon would be a pretty good choice.

Go to www.babycenter.com and sign up. You can discuss this with other expecting mothers, and they have good insight on baby names. They have baby poll names where you can list the names you want and the expected mothers or mothers in general will vote and they give such great answers. They were so helpful when my Aunt gave birth to her son.
In my opinion, I don't like Jr.'s. I love the name Landon and Jackson. Conner is also one of my favorites.

landon and jackson sound nice.
JACKSON: English surname transferred to forename use, meaning "son of Jack."
LANDON: "Long hill." English surname transferred to forename use, itself an abbreviated form of the surname Langdon, from Old English lang/long "long" and dun "hill."
