If you don't keep in touch with this person anymore...then you need to let go of the past, and move on. Don't rob yourself of the present by dwelling in the past. However, if you still keep in touch with that person, then obviously you two are still friends. It might not be the ideal relationship that you want, but at least you two still "love" each other as best as friends can have. Hang in there kiddo. ; )

You never really get over someone.. but the best way to not be in pain constantly is to find a new person to obsess over.. that can be easier than it sounds too!!! :)
