Acer they take a beating and ask for more thier customer service is very friendly and helpful the warrenty is pretty good as well. 1year on the software and 2 years on the hardware. I have owned 2 acer laptops and 1 desktop. I have had one harddrive fail. I called them they had ups pick up the laptop. They fixed and sent it back with absolutely no problems. I wasn't even asked how I burned up the harddrive in less than 3 months. By the way they even paid the shipping both ways.

i can tell you which ones suck, sony vaio, arrrrgh!!!
