don't remember the model or brand. i do remember that it seemed huge compared to the one i have now. didn't cost me anything, it was supplied by my employer. all i remember is that we had nextel.

My first cellphone was an anolog unit, Nokia N100. It was a little bigger in size compared to cellphone size today. It still uses NiCD batteries which must be completely drained before you recharge. I can't remember the cost but I was very satisifed by its performance. That time, it only have one ringtone. The phone is used for calls only (incoming and outgoing). Reception was very good. SMS was a very new technology then because carriers are still in the planning stages to go digital.

It was a motorola bag phone. The phone was free with a 1 year contract. My service contract was for 30 minutes a month at 24.95. I went way over that first month and racked up a $100 on my bill. I have never gone over my minutes since. This was back in 1991-92.

It was a second hand NEC for $150 the bargain of the century at the time. I remember I had to charge it for 8 hours after which I got 8 hours of stanby if I didn't receive any calls!

Yeah, I can actually remember my first cell phone. It was one of those old Nokias and it cost me about $80 for it. It was for Cellular One and I miss that cell service because I have unlimited minutes. That was something because you can't have that now anymore except for nights and weekends. Thats a shame that Verizon Wireless bought them out.

yeah i bought in 2003. it was an all favorite and cheap 115$ nokia 1100.i still use it sometimes. but i prefer more my new nokia N73.

it was a nokia. can't remember the model. it was not so big. two colors. green background and black text. it was an anolog phone. so there was no SIM inside.
