As soon as you feel it coming on take Zicam. You can find it at a drug store. Make sure you follow the directions closely! You do not want to sniff it like a cold spray.

Rest, run a steam vaporizer for stuffy nose, Vitamin C, aspirin if you have a fever, cough medicine for cough. It should go away in 5-7 days. If not, you probably have a sinus infection.

Rest and drinks lots of clear fluids. Also, try some Airborne, it is supposed to shorten the duration of your cold.

Airborne (or Walborne & save $2.00) vitamin/herb combination sold @ Walgreens' drugstore.

I just had a cold tonight & it stopped as I have been answering questions.

Also ColdEaze zinc lozenges are very helpful.

If you have a sore throat, take some advil or something. One thing i found interesting is something my house keeper does for my little bro. She takes some lemonade and then heats it up so its warm in a microwave. It really helps!

theres no cure for the common cold..you just have to let it ride..you can take things to ease the sypmtems of like paracetomal..advil or whatever..drink pleny of warm drinks.and pleanty of fluids (no beer) make sure you get an intake of vitamin c everyday...the cold will take its course then go

Ecchenasia is great (I can't spell!) or a shot of black berry brandy. Though if you do this you cannot take any other medication as alcohol may make things worse on top of medication

try taking musinex it helps clear out your sinuses so you wont be so stuffed up or runny all the time, and try taking tylenol sinus congestion and pain, also try taking some vitamins.
