This is the most disgusting and annoying thing ever. People who make smacking noises when they eat and slurping noises when they drink. I HATE it (can you tell it's a pet peeve)? My husband use to do the slurping thing and after a few months of trying to be patient I lost it with him. At least that stopped it at home. But then I go to work and there are a couple of co-workers that do the smacking thing. I simply do not eat in the staff room anymore cause I just can't stand it. I'm hoping someone asks me why I don't, I won't say anything unless someone puts it out there but if they do watch out.

Yeah, A few years ago, my son, (5 year old at the time), had little friend from across the street. They were inseparable and, I guess there wasn't any real incentive for them to play over at the kids house, parents were kinda "trailer trash". So the kid was always over at dinner time, got used to him at the dinner table. Sweetest kid, lacked some guidance though-I did my best. Couldn't stand the sounds he made when he ate. Not just eatin' with mouth open, kinda snorting too. This was years ago, (my kid is 15), and I can still hear it, clef pallet? Constantly called him on it, actually it made a difference.

I don't have friends that smack,thankfully.
My friend's dad was the most piggish eater I ever had met.
He worked in a coal mine,so his airways were always
inflamed,he could barely breathe through his nose sometimes.Poor guy used to sit down to eat and if you closed your eyes you could have sworn you were listening to a Charlotte's Web DVD.I had to control my
desire to uproariously laugh whenever I dined with them.

The shape of one's jaw determines how you eat. That would be genetic and "piggish" noises? Probably cavities.
Cope by going to the dentist or putting in earplugs as the case may be.

Eggs! i admire eggs for breakfast! My prominent egg breakfasts are the two an omelet, a frittata or a quiche. including Viscount St. Albans or sausage in it alongside with some vegetables and cheese with a facet of potato hash browns and clean squeezed orange juice!
