Yup! Buy it now should have immediately sent the payment to your account. Dont ship ANYTHING or give ANY details about you, your paypal account to Anyone.
Nigeria unfortunately is renowned for its scams and trying to obtain peoples bank details etc.

No payment through the normal channels? NO X BOX then report him to e-bay

Paypal is a way that you can transfer money without giving account details to a stranger. Give him nothing. Withdraw the 360 from sales and report the user to e-bay.

The fact that he bought the xbox 360 for his "son that will be starting a Computer science course in University of Nigeria Next week" strikes me as odd. It's a console, not a PC!

Phoenixheat's got a great piont with the spelling of "cheque/check". American's spell it "check".

Sell it to me pal...I saw your item on F-Bay but I won't guarantee I won't scammed u...

I am setting up a Computer University teaching people
How to ...
Plug in the supply,
Load the game
Connect it to the TV etc........
I am buying it for my friend hope in no time when the game isolated, he can be our school principle so that he can familiar with the product.

I have a DHL plane waiting for u in the airport, what u need to do the first thing in the morning is to go to the airport and load the item inside it, so please be hurry.

Next, sent me your pay pal account if u wish to, I will put it into the trash for sure.....
plus make sure u wait for me the night before in the airport so that next day u can do it at the very moment when u see the sight of my plane.lol

It's a huge scam, report them to eBay and pay pal immediately, and block them from buying from you ever again, my great Avon lady went exactly through the same thing, (thye tried to rip her off, ordered 500 bottles of perfume) they always say they have a FedEx account and the same thing you just described. So yes beware, and the next thing that will happen, if you listed your phone number on the total, you'll get a call from area code (408) and it will be a relay call, so be prepared and don't accept it.

Sounds funny to me, but is he the one who used the buy it now. Does he want you to ship before he pays? And if it's all through Ebay and Paypal you shouldn't have to send him anything about your Paypal, whatever he meant by that. If this isn't the same person who purchased this with buy it now, then you need to forward this email to spoof@ebay.com. Also if he contacted you from Ebay this email will be in My Messages also. If it isn't there it's most likely just a spoof email.

I consider anything that you get from Nigeria or that involves Nigeria, to be a scam. The only way I would send them anything is if you have their money in your hand. It certainly sounds like a scam. And if he's from Ohio, why is he spelling the word "check" as "cheque."

Sounds fishy.

I used to get about 60 to 100 emails per day before joining yahoo. (Thankyou Yahoo! Love you Yahoo!).

I miss my old computer, but that part I don't miss.

I used to get lots of emails from destitute former princes or relatives of the king of Imbulosia or Canantago, and they would tell a sob story that ended with..."Please send information on your bank account so we can credit you with one million Nigerian scudos".

Answer this, and you may wind up destitute yourself.
