Friendly staff, no problems? Upkeep presentable? Worth the money?

Any input or advice you can give me would be so helpful!

Thanks!

That's where my brother and sister-in-law stayed on their honeymoon. They loved it-had a great time there. They're always saying how they want to go back.

BTW, it's the Riu, not Rui, Resort.

The Riu properties are great; I love them mostly because I haven't had complaints over the years if I use the right Riu's.

There are 3 Riu properties in Cancun which are Hotel Riu Caribe, Hotel Riu Cancun and Riu Palace Las Americas.

With Riu's if the word "Palace" is in the name those are the more upscale properties to choose from. I was just recently at this property in May. I was down there inspecting 14 different hotels to see how things were progressing after that horrible hurricane that came through last year and destroyed so much.

Really though, any of these properties would be a good choice they are just such a fantastic chain. There are a few of course I wouldn’t stay at, but those ones aren’t in this area that I’m talking about.

The staff I found very friendly, the rooms are gorgeous at the Palace! You even have a 4 bottle in room liquor dispenser! Some of the rooms also have a Jacuzzi tub on the balcony. They also do massages out on the rocks and they do have a few specialty restaurants open for dinner only in a few. We had breakfast on my tour of this resort and the breakfast was fantastic! Such a wide variety.

This hotel is definitely worth the money, but with anything you get what you pay for.

I would be happy to help you with your travel arrangements on your trip to Cancun and if this hotel you decide isn't for you I know of several other choices in the area. Email me if you like and I can send you my contact information.

Rui Cancun - BRAND NEW opened May 2003! The newest landmark - tall and regal, in the exclusive Cancun hotel zone. Sensational architecture of a grand Resort with imaginative flourishes in art and design. Mosaic domes, frescos, flowers, terraces and vistas of the Caribbean. A taste of romantic Europe. Three swimming pools with waterfall front a white sand beach. Brazilian Rodizio themed restaurant and the Grill Steakhouse for fine cuts offer superb dining which is a trademark for Riu Resorts. You'll love the location across from El Galeria and Caracol shopping centers, and the nighlife of vibrant Cancun.

inspect the Palace lodges chain - we've been to Cancun two times and stayed at Moon Palace the two situations. Our journeys have been marvelous! i will admit that Moon Palace isn't the liveliest of places as that's south of the inn Zone in Cancun, yet there are 2 different Palace lodges interior the inn Zone that gets you closer to the action. we've in no way extremely dealt with youngsters - yet are generally there for the duration of off height season. Have a great time!!!

A friend just came back and told me they had three options, and told me to pick the classiest one, which he told me costs about $200 more but that its really worth the money. Said he would go back anytime. He also told me it really got him a lot of good points with the wife.
The waiters catered to all his needs the moment he needed it being that everything is already paidfor. Just remembver to tip.
