I have lived a very minimalistic life on a sail boat for the last 10 years and my experience is that when I have just money for the next couple of days I feel free as a bird! Once I worked in New York and had a few thousand dollars stacked in the boat: that year sucked!! I had to many options where I could spend money and it realy confused me.. So I`m just curious if any others have simular experiences, I mean we live in a time were consume is "important", sosial status etc.

So. You figured out life huh?.

Great. $$$$$$$ are not what $$$$$$ is.

Do I have any? Yes. In fact. I have got a lot by some standards. Let me tell you my friend. Money is nothing. I own in 3 companies in a Corp.

You can't eat money when your hungry. you can't drink money when your thirsty.

It's not "making a living" that counts.

It is" living on what you make" that is real.

You have found this out.

Yippppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Have a great week.

I lived on my sailboat for the better part of 22 years. Some of the best times were when I was broke. I spent all of my time sailing around exploring new places and catching fish and crab. Of coarse that was in Southeast Alaska, I doubt that you could do that down in the states. I was poor in regard to money but rich in happiness and health. Who cares what other people think.

I have recently decided to become semi-retired, I can't afford it but, when I look back at how I used to chase money I realise I should have done this a long time ago.
