Do you think that you can speak to the dead in dreams?

If you could, it would be awesome if you can ask them questions and have conversations. I have had people tell me that they had relatives talk to them in dreams. What the hell, is this true? Or is it bullshit?

Its very true. I've had tons of conversations with those who have passed and I think it was very therapudic considering how upset I was about their deaths. They actually come in dreams quite often but the problem is that not many people seem to remember. Something that I have come to do is to ask that I remember my dreams - any and all, especially the ones where I get a visitor - every night before I go to bed and it has helped tremendously. If you want them to come, they will...and if you ask for yourself to remember the dream in your waking life, then you will. Happy dreaming!

I think that you can talk to the dead in your dreams. They warn you about bad things and congratulate you when you need it. They also give you assurance that they may or may not be looking out for you. They can ask you questions, but I don't think that you can talk to them. When you do. It really is just a dream because your making it happen. Your halfway awake and are making them say what you want them to say. Be careful...its risky talking to them because if you follow them and it isn't a dream you will end up dead.

We believe the dead come to you in your dreams... The dream will seem very lifelike, maybe you will wake and actually expect the person(s) to be there. I recently dreamt of a long lost friend, much older than I that I have not seen for over 20 yrs...I had imagined how he looked, age adjusted, over the years...He came to me in a dream, and said"Wow, you almost had it right on the money" ... He looked very similar to what I had expected him to.. He then told me that he would be waiting for me, and would greet me when I passed over... Whether it is bullshit or not, I cannot say with certainty, but I gotta say, it was so real I have to believe it really happened... When we lose a loved one, it is only natural that they would be on our minds a lot & that we would dream about these individuals. This does not, however, mean that are still living on some other plane of existence & may choose to impart knolwledge to us while we sleep. Turning to the bible, Psalm 146:4 speaks about the state of the dead saying."his breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish." It is understandable to want to turn to those who have been there for us in the past for answers & after the loss of a loved one people want to maintain a link with their loved one so much. While Satan & Hollywood benefit form people believing in communication from beyond the grave, it is simply not real. Whether or not you have personally experienced such a loss, remember that the bible tells us that death is like a sleep. So, those in the grave are unconsious to the world of the living. This means that these conversations with the "dead" are actually chats with Satan, who is able to mimic a voice or recall a personal shared experience. Here the devil is taking the opportunaty to prey upon people whan they are most vulnerable, offering a false comfort to lead people away from the truth. I encourage you to be careful not to involve yourself in any type of behavior that attempts communication with the 'dead". Remember, when we need to find the answer to life's problems, we have a heavenly father calling for each of us to take refuge in His arms of Love. To start out with, find a copy of God's instruction manual,'The Bible' & read it for 15 minutes a day & each day share with someone what you have read. I think that you will ssoon find that you come across the answers that you need & develop the most important relationship of you life.

my mom says that some people have dreams with a dead relative or family member and they never wake up

becuz the dead person would say come come and when you go and hold there hand u'll never wake up they cross u over a river and then they grab ur hand

Yes, there have been many cases where relatives appeared in dreams to speak to the dreamer. Usually to give assurance or a message, sometimes to warn about or predict something.

However, I don't think it's possible to talk to them and ask questions. If you're dreaming, how can you be talking? Would your dream self know what questions to ask or what to say? I don't think so.

I think it is possible, and I have done this. My parents and many relatives are on the Other Side, and yet we talk in my dreams. My friend has seen them, too. I recommend you read Sylvia Browne's "The Other Side and Back." She explains it better than I do. Best wishes.

there would be no way of knowing,If you thought you were speaking to a deceased relative,whether you actually were are not, could be a demon,I'm pretty sure they would be able to get the answers right ,could be just your dream fulfilling your desire, but either way, still there would be no way of making the determination, and anyone claiming to know is lying

yes,i do...my grandparents always in my dreams and she kiss me in my face and hug me...my grandpa just give me a smile...
im so closed to both of them..my grandma alwasy say she loves me...and recently mu aunt died and i do believe that sometimes she visit me bcoz i can smell her perfume...
i do believe that they want to say something and want u to know that evendo they r not here with us they r still watching u and if u need them just give a little prayer and the they will be there 4 u..
and if that happen again that u see them in ur dream just offer a prayer and flowers to cementery....they just want u to remember them...

You can speak to the dead which is often emotionally comforting. If they answer back there is a problem.
