Could be considered a hobby if:
1. You do not own the cow.
2. Are not paid to milk the cow.
3. Do it in your free time.
4. Are able to say with a straight face that milking cows is your hobby when asked.

No. It doesn't really fit the definition of a hobby. Milking a cow falls under the category of a chore.

A hobby is an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation: Milking a cow, shoveling a sidewalk, doing homework...those kinds of things are not hobbies.

Dancing, collecting almost anything, knitting, putting together almost anything (engines, model cars), ...those kinds of activities are hobbies.

I personally would consider it a chore, but if you enjoy doing it, and have access to a cow you milk, then yes, I suppose it could be considered a hobby.

Hobby (Dictionary.com)
1.an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation: Her hobbies include stamp-collecting and woodcarving.

Hobby (Wikipedia.org)
A hobby is a spare-time recreational pursuit.

If you feel that when you are milking a cow it fits into these definitions, then I would say it is safe to call it a hobby

My husband milks our cows, but it's not a hobby for him.
It could be for you if you do it when you visit someone's farm, etc.
