The Hell's Angels are not a silly college fraternity with hazing rituals like giving cunnilingus to a menstruating woman.
There is a period served as a "prospect", during which you are a very junior quasi-member of the Club, wearing only the "rockers" on the back of your jacket - these are the patches that say Hell's Angels MC and the name of the chapter you are in.
As a prospect, you do all the lousy jobs, such as making the beer runs, cleaning the club house, etc. You take a back seat in all meetings and parties, generally keeping a fairly low profile but being ready to assist as needed.
During the prospect period, the Club members have plenty of time to determine if you are HA material or not. There is a vote to determine whether you are accepted or not, at which time you get your "Death's Head" patch if you are accepted.

A lot of that sort of thing is from back from the HAMC was actually bunch of hell-raising motorcycle enthusiasts. Now that they are an international criminal organization they are more concerned that their prospects are not undercover cops, and can bring something substantial to the gang as a criminal organization. That means prospects are much more likely to be asked to commit a crime on behalf of a chapter (sometimes murder) as a form of initiation, than to get peed on, etc. etc. The Rock Machine/Bandidos vs. Hells war cost over 200 lives (a lot of them prospects and hangarounds-full-patch members stay in the clubhouse where it's safe!), so it's no joke.

well this is what came out of a mouth of a real hells angels he said to me if you aint crooked you aint getting in. that is what he told my husband its a guy only club too. they have a womens club too that is associated with the hells angels.
