It sounds like these people have wrongfuly terminated you, it's good you refused to sign the conference records, you need evidence and proof of any and all occurances, did you ever get written up? You need to immediately gather any documents demonstrating you've been an outstanding employee and it is obvious more than one person is against you, or there might be some kind of conspiracy going on against you for different reasons, envy, etc.. You will need to present evidence, evidence is always the key factor to winning any kind of court case. Seek legal advice with a professional at once, even if it costs you some money, you need to fight for yourself, I don't know what kind of company you work for or the kind of job you do, if you have a copy of the excellent evaluations, (you must) show them to the attorney, you were wrongfully terminated, unjustly and the individual who fired you even if he is not the owner of the company you can also sue him as an individual, in other words personally sue him, I would.
You have many rights, though it's obvious most people try to avoid conflict and going to the extreme, it is necessary when it is, like now. When you've exhausted all sources, I guess you have no choice but to take legal action. I knew this guy he worked for a bank a few years ago, I won't mention the name, but I met him at another bank he went to work for, he was an assistant manager and a notary public, he filed a law suit against the previous employer, bank for harrasment and some other things, including wrongful termination, I believe 2 to 3 years went by and just recently he won a settlement for over 1.2 million dollars and now he is traveling the world. (What a lucky guy) he is very young too. Anyhow, what I'm saying is go out there and fight for your rights, especially if you were such an asset to that ungreatful company,
(One more thing only you know truthfully if you badmouth the company in any way to people and if you did, it is very likely you won't be able to win the case, as many witnesses will be called from the company to testify against you, or repeat what was said)
You should try to gather your own witnesses too or written evidence. If you talk to your previous sup., you should record anything being said from this moment on, or any other people you talk to, from the company.
Best of luck to you, I hope you win.

Although this all sounds unfair unfortunately you can be let go by any company at any time for any reason.. it's called employment at will .. The same way that you can quit and leave a company at any time a company can let you go at any time. If they felt you somehow were a liability then they can let you go without going into a lengthy explanation. ANYBODY can sue for ANYTHING, but that does not mean you will win ... I would not waste my time trying to "sue" ... you are not going to get very far ... they are going to bring people to court to make their case even if you don't believe they have a case. For some reason they decided you were "no longer a good employee" and wanted to get rid of you ... the fact of the matter is companies do not let go employees that they regard as "good employees", so for some reason, whether it was true or not they did not believe you were a "good employee" any longer and the WILL make their case in court and drag you through the mud ...Forget this and move on....find another job and get on with your life!

I would definitely file a complaint with the labor board, and pop for a 1 hour consult with a an attorney familiar with employer-employee relations.
Good luck.

Yes i believe u can file some sort of lawsuit. I dont think it is lawful to be fired for no reason without proof. Maybe this boss had some sort of bias towards u?

I would take it to a lawyer. Sounds like you could win. You could collect unemployeement at the least. This is if you were fired and didn't quit. Good luck.

you can sue anyone for anything, whether or not you win is a different story. But, your state has a labor board that you can send a complaint to. Good luck.
