This is one reason to breastfeed--it passes on your immunity to the baby.
It sounds like you are doing your best. Our younger daughter got sick at 6 weeks old. It wasn't fun but she bounced back fine.
It sounds really tiring! See if you can get some help supporting you! You're still in the "no sleep" stage of the new baby!

Just don't worry. It will be ok... You always have the doctor. It's tough. I finally have taught myself that this time of year is constant sickness. It took me till I my kids were almost 4 and 5 to deal with it.. It's to much stress on yourself. Just keep doing what your doing and keep the baby clean, and maybe bathe the 2 yr old a little more.

Quite often newborn children have higher immune system capabilities. Keep up the hand washing that is the best way to stop the spreading of anything. Your doing great.

my 2 year old also gets that so i keep my 1 year old away... clean and disinfect at all times specially when your 2 yr old vomits... give him pedialite.... he has to vomit and get the virus out of his system... hydrate him/her.. make sure his lips are not dry, or his eyes sunk in, if they are take'm to the hospital dehydration is bad... give'm a spoon of pedialite every 5 min (no kidding) so his stomach wont feel full and he wont vomit. dry food and tapioca. no milk or dairy products it goes away in like 7 days, but again keep everything clean and your newborn away.. make sure your clothes and hand are clean around your baby after you have handle your 2 yr old.... last time my 2 yr old was sick my 1yrs wasn't..... good luck and never hesitate to call your doctor..

You're doin all you can just keep it up. Your only other option would be if you had someone who could take your older one for a few dys.
