I spent one night of my honeymoon years ago at Snoqualmie; it was awesome. The surrounding town is also beautiful and has the coffee shop, Twede's Cafe, where you can get cherry pie and "a damn fine cup of coffee".

The old Snoqualmie Lodge, which sits on the edge of spectacular Snoqualmie Falls in Washington; those were the exterior shots.

The interiors were shot at the Kiana Lodge near Poulsbo on Puget Sound's Bainbridge Island.

The Great Northern is actually Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie> Washington.
