I just read where the per captia income for Israel is around $25000 per year, that is above the American per capita it seems Israel should be giving the U,S, some aid , we have supported them for over forty years , what about the so called holocaust fund of $11 billion dollars every year , plus the military equipment and loans that are never repaid but wrote off?? boy, you talk about a lobbing group , that is what the poor in this country needs a jewish lobby then maybe the elderly could eat after buying their meds,

American leaders are of Jewish origin and they wanted to help Israel against the Arabs by giving them aid.

It gives them a democratic ally in the Middle East who is a focus of Arab fury. Given that there are so many Arab countries, all with different types of government, there can never be an Arab solution to Israel. This helps keep a certain instability in the Middle East which the USA uses to its advantage.

I don't know of very many American leaders that are Jewish, so that can't be a reason. Most leaders are Christian or Catholic. I know that the Jews are God's "chosen people" and the Bible says that God will bless whoever befriends and blesses Israel and its people. And America has been blessed.

Without US aid Israeli's would not/ could not maintain a presence in Middle East, or would be at the cost of another holocaust. It is to our strategic advantage to maintain this presence and relocating the 3 million or so residents should we withdraw the aid would be an economic catastrophe.

American legislators-who are NOT Jewish but predominatly Christian-support Israel heavily because it is one of the few democracies in the Middle East. Additionally, their spy agency is superior to the CIA in on teh ground intelligence that aids our intelligence in the War on Terror. They are one of our main allies that we have entered into serious alliances with pledging support in the event they are attacked.
