First off, I hope you didn't get hurt.
I have short lashes because of my ethnicity. I buy the one's on the pink plastic....I wish I could remember the name of it, but it's light pink....and there are many different lengths and styles/shapes to choose from.
It takes some getting used to to apply it and to get comfortable with it, but the glue in the tube is easiest, I've found.
I opt for the one that's shorter, more natural looking.
