I tryed to watch this movie...And was very upset that it in no way reflected the brotherly love shared between Bo and Luke or the respect that everyone shared despite their differences... Anyone else feel angry that they had butchered our old school show? And who in the hell thought that Jessica Simpson could ever be a Daisy Duke? Jessican didn't even know that "chicken of the sea" was really tuna and thought it was sea chicken... I mean come the hell on.!.!.!.! Daisy was SMART and sexy. In fact it was her smarts that made her so attractive to me more than her ***. I always felt good after a good Dukes show.. Watching the remake I just felt cheap and trashy. And correct me if I am wrong... But the worst Bo and Luke ever said was "Dang it" ~ to which Uncle Jesse gave them a firm finger shake and the evil eye for being so potty mouthed. This remake was a shell of the movie I knew and loved.

It sucked.I keep telling my kids that the real Dukes of Hazard was so much better.I don't understand why they would change it so much.The characters was what was best about the show and they changed all that up.I don't remember one of the duke boys being mentally challenge either.

I did not watch the series because other, more intelligent, shows were on--The Flintstones!
The movie was supposed to be as stupid as the series. I didn't see it.
Nothing can ever be as good or bad as the original. That is true no matter how dumb the original was.

I grew up with it. The movie was disappointing, but they showed my apartment building in the movie.
