She was a very popular and very talented child star. I don't ever remember hearing anything adverse about her even in the tabloids.
She was very close to Ronald and Nancy Reagan and was appointed U S Ambassador to Ghana.
In my opinion she was a true Lady of The Old School. I wish we had more like her.
