Not long, she knows that Lex has a Darker side than he shows everyone, Lex is always destined to be alone. But the series will keep it alive as long as they want it to be so. Yes Def over with Lana & Clark, if you follow the comic closely, you know he eventually falls for Lois Lane....that they can't change....or else it would not be Superman
