cons: your life is not just about you anymore and adjusting to this idea may be difficult depending on the type of person that you are.

it may hurt your wallet at times

Pros: constant, sincere companionship; knowing that someone does care about you and have a deep interest in you and vice versa; you are not alone; you have someone you can hopefully relate to; you have sexual relations on a regular basis
