Awe, 4 weeks. Mine is 4 months. Around 4 weeks I was giving my baby a 6 ounce bottle (6 ounces of water and 3 scoops of formula). I would stop around 3 to 4 ounces and burp her. Once she burped I would try and give her the bottle again. If she took it she took it. If not than she was full! Around 6 to 8 weeks I would make a bottle and give her as much as she wanted. She would let me know when she had enough. I personally was never on a schedule with my child. When she was hungry she ate. Good luck. If you are on formula go to their website and sign up so they will send you coupons. Also, ask your baby's doctor if they have coupons. I use Similac and I get $5 off coupons sent to me at least once a month. It helps!! My baby's doctor has $2 off coupons sitting on their ledge when u sign out! The dr. might even have free samples their. It won't hurt to ask!

Babies at that age should be drinking anywhere from 4 to 6 oz at every feeding. If they fall a little shy of four that's okay just as long as the bottle is basically empty. Your baby will most likely decide how much he or she wants.Start with 4 and if he or she drinks it all and is still trying to suck on the empty bottle then give her 6 next time. Don't force him or her to drink it all though, they'll know when there full. And make sure to burp them after every oz they drink.

I have heard an ounce of milk per hour. If your baby eats every 2-3 hours, he should eat 2-3 ounces of formula. 3-4 hours, 3-4 ounces. After a couple of months, not sure on the ratio. I do know that about 5 months or so if the baby wants more than 10 or 12 feedings, it is time for cereal. I hope this helps.

It depends upon your baby and how much he wants to eat The Doctors and the nurses at the Neonatal intensive care unit where my son was for the first 11 days of his life due to breathing problems said to me that I should feed him as much as he wants every 3 to 4 hours. He started at 4 oz every 3 to 4 hours and now that he is 2 and a half months old he eats anywhere from 4 oz to 8 oz every 3 and a half hours His pediatrican said that was fine and to take time feeding him burping him after every 2 ounces and if he falls asleep after about 3 oz to let him sleep and he will ok.

My son is currently three months but at four weeks I was offering him 6 ounces (6 0z. water with three scoops of formula). Sometimes he wanted all six, sometimes he'd stop anywhere from 2 to 5 ounces. He'll let you know when he's full or hungry. Don't worry about it too much. As soon as you think you have it figured out, his little appetite will change!

I am thinking 3 oz every 3-4 hours. But you can tell when he gets hungry he will let you know when he starts to cry and everything else won't help him.

Try to feed him every three hours. Make 2-4 oz and see what he'll eat. He'll let you know if he wants more! :)
