If you're a woman... I'd suggest a lot of body stretches. You can find these online or in any fitness magazines. Also, do a lot of exercises with medicine balls (big large balls). Work on your core, that will help with stability and balance as well.

Pretty much anything with weights would improve strength. You can use dumbells, or any equipment with weights to improve different parts of the body.
You can try some cardio like the bikes, the stair climber, treadmill (the ones where you can change the inclination), the ecllypse (where it feels like you're skiing - my favorite), and just change to a higher level. These machines would also improve endurance.
As for flexibility, I did saw one called "Tru-stretch" where you can stretch everywhere... another way is to do few minutes of stretching on your own, or you can try some pilates moves on the mat.

If you want the best of both worlds... try attending one of those aerobics/kickboxing class. They always start out with the warm-ups and stretching before working with weights (bands, dumbells, benches, own body weight). Every gym should have these drop-in classes.

Get some lessons in Yoga or Pilates. That will improve your strength and flexibilty as long as you stick with it. You can also check out Yoga or Pilates for dummies but I'd get lessons first to form a good foundation for your experience.
