Now rap is in style and i'm no rap fan. I was also no Aron Carter, N'SYNC, or Britney Spears fan, but there was alot of good pop music that just died. Why? My philosiphy is, Once a good song, always a good song. For example, I didn't even hear about Michelle Branch until lately because her faded fame was covered by big time rappers like Eminem, P diddy, and R. Kelly. Not to mention metal bands like Metallica and AC/DC. But I realy like Michelle B. Why did she just fade?

I don't think she or other artists faded just got overwhelmed by the Pop-Hip Hop machine-like most of the good music. If you look at magazines all you see are Pop princesess and Hip hip giants with very little talent-i hate to say that its true-
