Hey Hon,
You can get your ears pierced in most salons.

In most malls there is a store that sells earrings and other things called: Claires. They also have a subsidiary or sister store called The Icing. I think it is the same in both stores, but i got mine done at Claires. The piercing is free with the purchase of a starter kit. A starter kit is earring cleaner and a pair of earrings. I think earrings start at $14.95, they no longer sell surgical steel they are 14kt gold, or sterling silver now I believe.

When you do get your ears pierced make sure you listen to the instructions they give you and clean them several times a day and never use rubbing alcohol on your earrings! (It tarnishes them!)

go to the mall, risk infection, hep C and untrained piercer = cheap

Go to a proper studio, get quality jewelry, clean needles, sterile equipment and a good piercing = I charge about $50 for both lobes. It will vary depending on where you go.

Check out this article for reasons not to go to the mall
