You're talking about a perfect game. But that doesn't include "not hitting the ball at all". That game would mean all strikeouts!! No popflys, no ground outs, no liners, no foul balls! Seems possible, but really no chance.
There have only been 17 perfect games in history in MLB. The last perfect game was in 2004 by Randy Johnson.
Here's the definition and list of perfect games:

When you say no player hit the ball at all are you saying there was not even a foul ball? If so I highly doubt there ever has been one of those,
If you asking if the ever been a game where there were not hits, walks, no one being hit by a pitch......... sure there has been. It's called a perfect game. Believe it or not some one could still score a run because of an error..... a pretty bad one or several right in a row... could score a run.
As for if it's ever happened where both teams have a perfect game in the same game... I'm pretty sure not.

Never happened. Like other's have said 27 strikeouts, no foul balls, that would be quite a feat. Among the more arcane rules in baseball, what is the least number of possible pitches in a game? The answer in nine. Leadoff hitter hits a triple on the first pitch. Next batter is up and the man on third tries to steal home. The batter is hit by a pitch. According to the rule the runner goes back to third and the batter is called out. Repeat this process over and over again. 9 pitches 27 outs

In the 1994 flop "The Scout" starring Brendan Fraser, BF's character, Steve Nebraska pitches for the Yankees against the Cardinals and strikes out all 27 hitters on 81 swinging strikes. The ficticious Cardinals manager should be hanged for Ozzie Smith batting 9th in the lineup...

There have been plenty of no-hitters, but none in which each batter failed to make contact with the ball. In 1952, Ron Necciai struck out 27 batters in an Appalachian League game. He allowed a walk, an error and he hit a batter in the game.

you people discuss me...first roger clemens struck out 20 people twice and kerry wood did it once, that's the record for most strikeouts in a game, the big unit got 19 a couple times...now that thats settled, a game where nobody gets a hit, nobody gets walked, nobody ever touches first base meaning no errors also, is called a perfect game... perfect games are very rare, randy johnson threw one a couple years ago, and i think its only happened a hand full of times...

the answer is no, becuase that would constitute 27 strike outs, and the major league record for strikeouts in a single game is somewhere between 21 and 23, so that wouldnt be possible at all
