Why wont my sims lots upload?

Question

Every time I try uploading my sims lots to the web-site a messeges pops-up saying the connection failed. How can I fix it?

I have dsl,not dial-up

How to add Lots to the Exchange:
First make sure you are registered to the Sims2 websire. Lots are added to the Exchange from the Neighborhood view while playing The Sims 2 game. From the Neighborhood screen, click on the Lot you wish to upload to the Exchange. Click the Package Lot button (it's right below the Rename Lot button). Click the "Package Lot To TheSims2.com" checkbox and click the checkmark to accept. Confirm that you want to upload this Lot by clicking the checkmark to accept again! You should now see the progress bar of the lot being uploaded. This Lot will now appear (there may be a slight delay) in the Exchange and on your MySims page where you can delete it or edit it.
