Only once, so far.

I have all postive feedback, because I try to be honest with everyone I deal with.

This past July I happened to be the lucky bidder on a VHS of a movie most have forgotten.

I paid $8.55 for the movie and the shipping costs, total.

Nothing received, so I sent an email in August.

The seller said it was lost in the mail, and would send another like it by insured mail.

Never got anything, but something happened with that movie.

It became very rare within these past few months, and I was lucky to get it through another seller for $20.00.

I have a dispute going, but I feel I will get no satisfaction and not even my money refunded.

Needless to say, I gave that seller a negative feedback.

Most likely this seller realized I hit it lucky and didn't want to see me get that video for that small sum of money.

After this experience, I don't see where auctions through E-Bay always result in the "winner takes all".

There are ways in which people can fool you.

E-Bay is not quick to solve these traps set up for innocent bidders.

They allow only 60 days between end of auction and receipt of merchandise. In between, the con artists work their trade by using excuses like "lost in the mail", or other delay tactics.

I hope my experience can help others understand that it's still "buyer beware". Not all folks using E-Bay are con artists, but there has to be at least a few.

Thanks, and good luck.

Yes. In a few cases people took for ever to send item. One Paypal repaid me the other finally sent the item. Both sellers were delisted. Some things I found tricky. There is a an expensive mens cologne and although at a good price and despite people prmosing the item was 100% authentic in my opinion most of them weren't. I know because I bought the legitimate item an a class store. The fake stuff although not terrible didn't compare in my books and wasn't worth the money.

some thing comparable got here approximately to me; i offered what i presumed became a Mariah Carey CD in spite of the undeniable fact that it ended up being an illicit! I had to bypass and touch customer service at eBay. I have been given my funds lower back and that guy or woman's account became suspended. next time you purchase from somebody on eBay, verify that they have a intense constructive comments score. look on the ratio of constructive, independent and destructive comments and notice what human beings wrote approximately them.
