You said "free" charting software, correct? The other answer doesn't apply ($100).
It doesn't matter what you want to chart, whether it is gold, oil, Indian stocks or German stocks, the charting software simply charts the prices fed to it, and Technical Indicators analyze it.
Microsoft Excel's spreadsheet will also do a very good job charting stock prices. But if you don't have the data, then you'll have to rely on the only charting sites.
Yahoo Finance has a fairly good charting screen. Others are:
