Salaries break down

If you are making 35,000 a year…

What formula do you use to break it down in to what you get in your pay check every week before taxes or after taxes?

I'd say, divide 35,000 by 12. Then divide the answer by 4. That should give you a pretty good estimate before taxes.

From an underwriting standpoint, since you are paid weekly use the following formula: 35,000/52 or 35,000/12/4.33

Bi Weekly: 35,000/26 or 35,000/12/2.13
