I use mine mostly for school I have a 14 inch. monitor all the other stuff on the bigger ones are great but your battery life will sucks and being for school it may die on you in class i have friends with 15 to 17 inch monitor that only last an hour to 1 and half mine lasts 4 hours to 5 hours depending how intense of things your doing it on it.........14 inch is big enough I think I mean anything over and your battery life will just suck and I used to have a 15 inch and I don't even notice anymore it loses its glow and all you will be stuck with will be a laptop with suckie battery life and it should last a long time because it's made for the goal.......there are so many places with wi-fi now a days and mostly don't have an outlet open so ya I go with the 14 inch. battery life is very important for anything portable

17" widescreen is nice. I do all the stuff you do and I love my laptop. It's a Dell Inspiron E1505. Core duo processing, and you can get a bunch of extras like dvd burner, more ram, etc. Bought it for 800 on Ebay back in April, I'm sure its cheaper now. I'm sure they even have newer models out now.

15.4 Is the size of this computer. It's all you need in terms of size without getting obnoxiously big, and it is not bad at all to carry around. Battery life for this laptop is average, between 2-3 hours, depending what applications you have running. Just read the reviews online if you haven't already, it's one of the best laptops for the money out on the market right now.

For laptop, you'd like to get a 14".

If you want v.good portability and ease in carrying around, can get a 12" one. But if you use it for a long time often, your eyes gonna be strained a little.

17" great for watching movies and all.. but its gonna be bulky to bring about.

Your choice. :)

15" will do the job. Bigger screens are heavier, its not fun to carry it. but 14" widescreens also look pretty good. Better go to local store and compare it side by side.

maximum televisions on the marketplace in the present day have S-VIDEO inputs which you will connect on on your pc by an low value cable. maximum laptops even have the prospect to run distinctive video reveal gadgets to boot with in simple terms and occasional value cable or an adaptor. i offered my dad and mom a pc final spring and that i related to the television and that they are having a blast.
