I wouldn't

Taxes are quite high.

Living is quite expensive.

With all the US Outsourcing to India I'd say stay there for the here and now and wait until it's too expensive to live in India anymore, then consider a move.

From what I understand if you're making $15 to $20K in India you are doing quite well. That's poverty in Cananda or the US. That's what an 18 year old makes working at a food joint or store selling items.

A good car is $50k to 80K here.

A house is $200K or more here

Apartments are $800+ a month.

Rice is $1.50 a pound.

In the US a Doctor's visit is $100

Canada has free medical for citizens and people on full status work visa, but there may be a waiting period and as with US health plans things may have to go through a committe.

Taxes are 40% and above.

On the UP side, EVERYONE in Canada lives like the affluent in India. There are no poor, per se.

Everyone has hot water and electricity all the time, cable TV, telephones airconditioining. Next to no one begs in the street anywhere. Almost everyone has a car.
