"Hello Javier R! I'm an old guy now, but, I still remember my school days with it's pains and pleasures.
I'm not sad about when and how I ended up, but, I didn't apply myself during those years. I was much more interested in sports and girls than my school work (NOT STUDY=BIG MISTAKE).
Your question read like your an intelligent fellow and you know what you need to do. Because you like so many different things, it seems like you don't take things one at a time. Your attention jumps around to dancing, sports, girls and other stuff. The way you describe your problem, you might have Attention-Deficit-Disorder. You'll have to ask a professional about ADD.
Your family is (1). Your school work is (2) Your friends are (3) The things you do that kinda use up your time ... fun things (4)
Remember, one thing at a time (FOLLOW STEPS=SUCCESS).
Concentrate on one thing at a time everyday, and try to get all 4 steps accomplished.
Good luck and best wishes."

I have the same problem while trying to work on my school work. I take online classes so my IM and online friends are there blinking away at me. What I have found that works for me is to put my IM statis as away or even go invisible. I work without the TV or music. I also choose a time when my family is not wanting my attention. This usually means while they are watching their favorite television shows and after supper. I seem to get more school work done this way since I do not have as many if any interuptions for at least an hour or so.

Well, those are tempting to do, but focus. Do not look at the web, or tv or listen to music. Complete silence is the best for you. Some pple find classical music all right. Take frequent breaks for your rest in between.
Eat some sugar sweets.

It sounds like you need someone who will listen to you. Someone who is a friend even if its your mother..or a member of your family also your teacher as you stated you were in school. When studying always make that room for studying only and I am sure your concentration will improve..Good Luck to you..

If there are counselors at your school they may be able to help you.
You may need to remove all distractions. Like study in the library or away from your computers and other electronics.
Find or organize a study group in your classes. You'll be able to socialize and get your work done.

You should be more active during the day or better yet, right before you have to concentrate. Try going bike-riding or go for a jog, this will help focus your mind.
