I'm planning a bus trip, but i need to make a flier to let everyone that want to attend know all of the information about the trip, but i never made a flier before so i don't know were i go to make one i heard from a couple people that you go to microsoft word. but i need the steps on how to make the flier with a picture of a bus on the background of the flier.

In MS Word you can use different font styles, and font sizes and colors. You can use clip art of a bus or an actual picture (using the Insert, Picture command).
For the beginner, it is probably better to rough out a draft of what you wish to say on paper first.

It'd be easiest to go to Publisher.
It has basic pictures..
if you don't have publisher then I don't know.
