Hypothetically speaking…
Let's say Bob is engaged to Jane. Bob knows that Jane is really close to her coworker Frank. If Jane and Frank repeatedly cuddle, embrace and on occasion hold hands when they are alone and drinking does that constitute cheating if nothing sexual happened? Is this okay?

The term cheating is open to a lot of debate, but for the most part, Jane and Frank are doing something that Bob would not approve of, and something they feel they can not do in front of Bob, and that is NOT good. It may not be "cheating", but it's not being "faithful" and Jane should probably put an end to it.

Well hopefully Jane would get the Okay from Bob before engaging in such activities with Frank. If Bob believes Jane and Frank to be nothing more than friends and Bob doesn't have a problem with such activity between the two, then it would not be cheating. If Bob knows nothing about the activities between Jane and Frank and would be upset if such activities were taking place then yes...Jane would be cheating on the trust and respect of her relationship with Bob.

I feel that Cheating is ANY emotional connection. It does not have to be a sexual thing. If Jane and Frank are cuddling then there has to be a emotional connection....why would you cuddle other wise?
So No its not okay.

YES it is cheating anything more than a warm hug and quick kiss on the cheek is inappropriate how would jane like to see bob cuddling his ex?

what if Jane and Frank were cuddling on a bench holding hands and whispering in each other ear one night....then a sound from the bench behind them was...Sara and bob, They were embracing one another holding hands and drinking....would Jane leave her seat to ask what was going on...remember...it's just a co-worker...

ha..cheating is pretty much hiding something. If you let bob know, and he's kewl with it, then no, it's not cheating. But if someone is doing something with someone else knowing that the other person wouldn't like it, then yeah, that's pretty much cheating...although i doubt anyone would take serious relationship advice from a teenager =)

Yes, it is cheating on an emotional level. Sometimes that can mean more to someone than a one night stand.
