me and my girl both have aids. since we have nothing to lose, we have unprotected sex. she found out that she is now pregnant. i was told by my doctor that i am sterile, but we are sure it's mine. should we let our unborn child suffer as we have, or should we just kill it? christians please do not answer this because your opinions do NOT count in the real world.

Honestly if I were in that position I would have an abortion. There are meds and stuff she could take to prevent the baby from having aids.. but in all respect I think that if I were in that position the best thing to do would be to terminate.
Mind you, if I found out that I had full blown AIDS I wouldnt be alive to tell about it. ;)

I understand that your expect a Christian to answer that this is sick and terminating the pregnancy would be murder...but, that is not what I will say.
I will say that this is very irresponsible and you need to begin making a responsible decision right now.
First, talk to the OB about what may be good options if you want to have the baby; raise the baby, love the baby and everything in between. I admit that I am not as up to date on all the medical advancements in terms of AIDS, but I know that there is enough promise (though many still in the study stage) for you to give the baby the opportunity to live. Talk to your doctor! Make an informed decision.
If you decide to terminate the pregnancy because you do not want your child "to suffer", I empathize with that decision, but are you sure that it is about not wanting the baby to suffer or the inconvenience of taking care of a baby that may (or may not) be infected with AIDS. If you think that terminating is what you need to do make sure that you make this well informed.
Whatever you choose, consider how you will feel and how your girlfriend will feel and please consider birth control (the pill) if not condoms to avoid another unwanted pregnancy. Abortion can not be the answer next time. It's not healthy for a woman. Not only is it painful physically, but the potential emotional affects are quite real as are all the "what if's" and guilt.

The term is abort...If you're going to refer to something at least be mature enough to use the right terminology for it. The only thing I have to say is that just because you both have aids doesn't mean you should have unprotected sex...now you're finding out WHY. So now you're either going to bring another human into the world to suffer your disease or get an abortion because you and your girlfriend couldn't use your brains...

Wow... thats a tough one to go thru no matter which way you look at it. I have had an abortion but I have also had two girls and there's nothing like it in the world. There's a slim chance that the baby will be negative but I know I see your point. Perhaps you should just look at it as if you are able to have the child. Would you be able to afford it and take well care of the child? If not then there's your answer. But if you guys are ready to settle down and take care of that child no matter what then go for it. i am sorry u both have aids, and it is possible that the child wont have aids , but i know that havin aids is not so easy to deal with my friend, but u can have the fetas tested, there are drugs that she can take to prevent the baby getting aids,
but if u really think that abortion is the only way that child is yours,
then do everything u can to precvent the child from gettin it,
but ending some ones life becuse they have aids it's sence less and stupid, ask all the doctors first and if the child is yours that is if ur girl is not cheatin on u, do wut ur hearts tell u 2 , if u dont want ur child not 2 go through wut u 2 went through do wut u have 2 do.

dont kill a baby...do u mean abortion? that is up to u. put aside the disease for a second. r u ready for a baby? do u want a baby? will the baby have a good life? consider ur options/ and its NOT for certain that the kid will have AIDS. u just have to weigh the pros and cons and make a decision. and ur last sentance is extremaly rude and offensize. and im not even christian! u could say: please, i dont want any pro-life comments on this matter
