a vary good pop!! If you go for an injury talk to your Dr. first, it might make it worse. You should read up on the history of chiropractic care, who made it up, made me not want to go! good luck!!

A chiropractor can do something called an adjustment that is a quick fix to most back and joint pain problems. The pros are that the Chiropractor can help you quick in the short term but the cons are that you have to do the necessary workouts. Be well !

Pros.. they can fix most any back, neck, headache problem you have. I have had 10 or more shots in my spine over the years. Epidurals, corizone shots, blood patches... caused alot of lower back pain... chiropractor helped ease that. It also helped with my headaches more than I could imagine.
Cons- When you start you may have to go 2-3 times a week till you get "adjusted" and then go atleast 1 time a week for a long period of time. Paying is also a con. Some places may work out a payment plan for you to pay your copays or such. The one I was going to go to wanted 1,000 up front to cover copays or 60 bucks a week. Well, when you only make 130 every 2 weeks.. kinda didnt work.
They can and do help. Feels so good when you leave there too...Good luck

The upside is you will get better quicker than by going to a doctor if it is a problem related to subluxation, muscle spasm and things related to that.
The down side is you may delay treatment of breast cancer or prostate troubles if that is the cause of your back pain if the chiropractor doesn't ask the right questions.

I was in severe pain due to a car accident, I had used drug therapy, been to a pain management center in short was doing the circle of Dr home Dr home and feeling like I had lost control of everything. Once day I was in so much pain I could hardly change gears in my car and I stopped for a rest outside a chiropractors clinic. I went inside, skeptical and yet after one treatment I was able to move my neck and shoulder. I became a regular patient after the initial weekly visits I was able to reduce them to monthly and now when I need to go and yes i can recognize when my body needs to go, as a result of treatment and management I am now only having chiropractic and deep muscle massage and am free of unnecessary medication. My view is when you are in pain you try whatever you can to alleviate it....good luck!

Ihave gone to chiropractors for years, and still do, but I have come to realize that they mostly relieve symptoms, which is useful, but i have found neck and back pain are often symptoms of things like food allergies,(I get severe back spasms if i eat even a tiny bit of dairy food). So, yes they can be a big help, but search for the answers why you need one. Back and neck are referred pain areas for internal organs. Upper back and neck tension can be caused by your liver dealing with things like mould toxins from food moulds. A lot of joint pain can be from acid in your diet, as well. Health to you!

Joint pain or stiffness of the joint may be caused by overexertion, injuries, arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis and other diseases. Depending on the cause of the joint pain, joints on both sides of the body and small or large joints may be affected. Some types of joint pains can be completely cured but for other types of joint pain (like pain caused by osteoarthritis), treatment will only reduce the pain. Pro - they know what to do, they avoid drug therapies, they get it fixed fast.
Con-you are directly involved in the healing process (just like you were involved in the injury process.)
Good Luck!
