Whenever I boot my PC, the monitor display is distorted.?

However, things become normal again when the OS (Win XP) appears on screen. What could be the problem and how am i gonna fix it?

try installing and reinstalling your video driver...that the only think i can think of, but if it works perfectly after a few seconds, just wait it out and see what happen.

I've never heard of it being distorted on boot......If it becomes normal when it gets to the XP boot screen then I would say just go with it till something goes wrong. Make sure you back up your data just to be safe.

check to see if a disk was left in it.
